Online — live every Sunday

Join Us This Sunday

Church in your PJs? Totally fine by us. Join our livestream from wherever you are on YouTube — no account, no invite, no sign-up needed. Just turn up.

7:00pm UK | 2:00pm EST

First time? Three things you should know.

We built Crowd for people who aren't sure about church — so the bar for joining in is exactly as low as you need it to be.

01

Lurking is allowed

Watch anonymously for as long as you like. You're never on camera, nobody can see you, and no one will put you on the spot.

02

Join in when you're ready

Say hi in the comments, ask a question, or share a thought — the hosts read comments out by name in Conversation Street and take every question seriously.

03

No sign-up, no follow-up

No account needed, no offering plate, no awkward emails afterwards. Come back next week, or don't — we'd love to see you either way.

The Rundown

What actually happens?

Here’s how a Sunday evening with Crowd works, minute by minute. No liturgy, no performance — one good talk and a proper conversation.

6:55pm

Join the stream

Jump on YouTube or Facebook. Say hi in the comments if you like — or don't. Both are fine.

7:00pm

Welcome

Two hosts open the evening, introduce the speaker, and explain how it all works — so first-timers are never lost. Expect some banter.

7:10pm-ish

The talk

20–25 minutes on one big question of life and faith. It's a conversation starter, not a lecture — drop your questions in the comments as you go.

7:35pm-ish

Conversation Street

The hosts pick up your comments and questions and chat them through, live. Comments get read out by name; questions get answered honestly. Usually the longest — and liveliest — part of the night.

8:00pm-ish

Live Lounge

An optional 5–10 minute hangout on Google Meet after the stream (link's in the comments). Like tea and coffee after church — except you bring your own, so you can't complain if the drinks are naff.

Small groups also meet during the week over Zoom for those who want to go deeper — find out about online community.

Who you’ll meet

Real people, taking turns

Hosting is a team sport at Crowd. Each week a different pair — Anna, Dan, Sharon, Mike, Jan, Ade, Dave or Matt — opens the evening and steers Conversation Street, with someone else giving the talk. Some are in the Liverpool studio, some join from elsewhere; all of them are figuring out faith in real life, same as you.

“We are an online community of believers. It doesn’t matter where you are, it doesn’t matter if you haven’t got a local church. We can be your local church, literally on your screen.”

This is what last Sunday looked like

No need to take our word for it — here’s the most recent service. We’re currently in a teaching series called Jesus the Revolutionary.

Questions you might have

No. The livestream is watch-only — you're never on camera, and nobody can see you. Commenting is entirely optional. Even in the Live Lounge afterwards you can keep your camera off and just listen in.

Nope! Whether you've never opened a Bible or you've read it cover to cover, you're welcome here. We explain everything as we go.

Whatever you're comfortable in. We're pretty casual — jeans, trainers, PJs welcome. No judgement.

Brilliant! Children are absolutely welcome to watch with you. If you're in Liverpool and interested in kids' church activities, check out Frontline's morning service.

About an hour for the livestream, plus the optional Live Lounge hangout afterwards if you want to stay and chat.

No drama — we get that life happens. Slip out whenever you need to. No one will mind.

Perfect — you'll fit right in! We're all figuring it out together. Doubt and questions are genuinely welcome here.
