Understanding God

'God' can mean almost anything these days: the universe, an energy, a vague force that never says anything. The God Christians talk about is far more specific, and far more surprising.

He leads, restores, guides, comforts, prepares a table, pursues. Not a distant deity, not a cosmic policeman. A shepherd.
